PROCIDA
Procida is the smallest of the Partenopean islands and is the closest to Napoli, but fortunately the least frequented by luxusurians and unrestrained tourists.
With its almost intact natural beauties, the island of Procida proves to be the ideal place for a beach holiday. Wide beaches and numerous bays and coves of the island of Procida, the coves scattered along the coast of Procida offer shelter from any type of wind from a nautical point of view. Among the topten finalist candidate cities, Procida was elected ITALIAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2022.
PROCIDA HARBOURS
Procida island has 3 small ports: MARINA GRANDE, MARINA CORRICELLA and MARINA CHIAIOLELLA.
MARINA GRANDE is the main docking of the Procida island. And it is the sea port for ferries and hydrofoils which connect Procida to Pozzuoli, Napoli and Ischia.
Nearby is Marina di Procida, the new touristic harbour endowed with mooring, electricity, water and showers. Here the ProgettOceano has its nautical base. Really, exactly the Marina di Procida is the bareboats departure point or embarkation on her sailboats and sail yacht to rent for a week end cruises or weekly sailing holidays or more weeks charter
MARINA CORRICELLA, a wonderfull island whithin the island, the typical fishing village, forbidden to cars and scooters traffic. It's in the southern part of Procida island. And it is reserved to boats for fishing, but practicable entering the 1st entrance - Punta dei Monaci side- you can reach the shore by tenders. Paying attencion to the shallow water.
MARINA CHIAIOLELLA, is a small harbour both for tourism and fishing. You can find: fuel station, private ponts, mooring, electricity, water and showers.
It's located in the south of Procida island and the entrance to the harbour is not easy with strong SE wind.
PROCIDA ANCHORAGES
The roadstead of Chiaia is a huge bay in the south, close to the harbour of Corricella and offers the best anchorage of the Procida isle, particularly at night.
It's sheltered from the winds of the 3rd and 4th quadrant and offers a beautifull view with sandy shallow water rich in poseidonia.
Unlike the other Procida inlets, the Carbogno doesn't offer a safe enchorage because of its rocky and deep waters. At present, it is used as ichthyc rearing with big cages signalled by light (boe).
In any case, it's useful to look it up in the Map of Regno di Nettuno if you want sail and anchor respecting the limits of the natural park which embrace Procida, Vivara and Ischia.
Warnings: PUNTA SERRA a rocky tongue extending for 200 mt. from the mountains, coverd with shools. REEFS at Punta Cottimo and Punta Lingua.
ISCHIA
One mile from Procida and from our base, Ischia, the Green island is famous for its thermal baths and it's a rather big island, quiet and relaxing, a good place for summer holidays lovers. Ischia island has many happy aspects to wrap your sailing holidays.
Ports and Anchorages of ISCHIA:
Ports: ISCHIA PORTO - ISCHIA CASAMICCIOLA – ISCHIA FORIO – ISCHIA S. ANGELO
ISCHIA PORTO
Is a natural bay with wharfs and completely sheltered from any wind but at the same time busy from sailboats, yacht, super yacht and ferries for sail around Ischia e Procida. Here the backwash caused by the traffic of ferries which connect Ischia Porto to Pozzuoli and Napoli and with Procida is the only fault.
The sailboat and yacht transit is hard because of the floating structures of the Marina di Ischia, located to the left since crowded. Petrol pump which is on the right, grants the fuel.
You can see landing wharfs that are less crowded.
Free mooring is forbidden.
ISCHIA CASAMICCIOLA
is a commercial harbour that connects Ischia with Pozzuoli, Napoli and Procida. And a touristic harbour too reserved to the sail yacht, sailboats, boats and super yacht. for charter sailboats: pay attention to the sandy shallow waters just in the centre of the Ischia Casamicciola harbour, and to the ferrie and hydrofoils traffic that connects with Napoli, Pozzuoli and Procida. Mooring is granted at the dock if you contact the Marina of Cala degli Aragonesi from the municipal landing wharfs and the Marina located on the right, just entering the port.
Be careful to the winds coming from the 1st quadrant.
ISCHIA FORIO
To all boats, all sailboats and yacht take care entering the harbour because of the several outcropping rocks some of which not signalled along the entrance in coming into line with Punta Imperatore. Forio is a nice harbour for all boats, yacht anche sailing boats.
ISCHIA SANT'ANGELO
S. Angelo is an exclusive place, considered the flagship of the Ischia island. Very typical harbour but there are very few berths. Despite its small harbour, you can see a wide bay on the south-side, an ideal place to spend one night in the roadstead with good weather conditions. There a sandy bottom and no dangers. Don't miss the thermal beach where you can see the "fumarole".
Don't forget: Santangelo bay, Sorgeto with its natural water springs, S. Francesco, Sammontana, Castello Aragonese bay and Cartaromana.
Warnings: Ischia Forio with shoals and reefs along the west-side, stretching up to 500 mt. from the Ischia coast .

Capri, surely is the best known of the Partenopean islands, elegant and refined one. Breathtaking views from the sea, and unique glimpses also from land. Do not miss the walks through the steps full of history that come from the square of Capri to the sea. . . in Marina Grande on one side, in Marina piccola on the other. . .
Ports and anchorages of the island of Capri
Marina Grande, is divided into three areas: the Commercial Port of Capri (eastern side), the Tourist Port of Marina di Capri and the Darsena (western side). Inside the marina of Capri is possible the mooring place both on the dock and on the floats for all boats, super yachts and sailboats. The dock is reserved for big boats and super yacht. So normally you can moor on float docks if you charter a sailboat. the Marina di Capri offers light and water mooring service and showers. The fuel service is ensured by the AGIP distributor inside the harbous of Capri.
The bay outside Marina Grande is not recommended due to the enormous commercial traffic with Capri island.
Among our favorite bays in Capri, Marina Piccola is certainly included. Completely open to the SOUTH, more than a marina it is a bay where is possible a landing just for a boat'stender stopover. It is good to know that the seabed, mixed between sand and poseidona, rises gently from 70 meters up to 10 meters. To all yacht and sailboats, sail yacht and charter boat, we recommend to anchor in the innermost part entering the bay on the left side. Anchorages in all other bays are not recommended, due to the high and rocky bottoms.
AMALFI
Half way between Naples and Salerno, Amalfi is an ancient seaside village which still keeps its beauty of Republic Marinara. Who sail with his yacht or sailboat can see Amalfi, because it's situated on a hill goes down to the sea. One of the main monument of Amalfi is the Dome of S. Andrea. It's easy to get to Amalfi from the sea with super yacht, yachr or sailboat , both in the day and at night, but pay attention to fishing equipment not lit near the coast. The SE wind may be dangerous entering the harbour to all boats. Inside the port which is cosy, you are offered mooring, electricity and water.
The dock which arrives at the beach is particularly fair at night, in fact while walking along the Amalfi harbour, you can see the limpidity of the water and the light pebbles of the shore.
Amalfi town is so elegant and it is a small centre to walk. As you leave the main street you can find out alleys, and stairs leading to terraces from where you enjoy a breathtaking view.
Amalfi is a good starting point take up an excursion by bus to Vietri, famous for its pottery, and Maiori and Ravello a well known centre.

POSITANO e "LI GALLI"
Positano is a famous centre along the Amalfi coast and after Amalfi is surely one of the most visited ones.
